Experience hill tribe trekking, biking and kayaking on this extended 4 day 3 night trip.

Day 1 Trek to Lahu Village (L,D)
- Pick up from your Chiang Mai hotel then we will make the one hour drive north of Chiang Mai to our trek start point.
- On route we will stop at a local market for the guide to stock up on supplies for the trek.
- On the first day we will trek for around 4 hours and make our way up to a remote Lahu village situated high up in the mountains.
- On arrival in the village you will be able to explore the village or kick back, relax and enjoy the views over the mountains and jungle.
- You will overnight in the village in a real Lahu village house, be prepared for very basic conditions as you will be sleeping as the locals do.
- Dinner - The guide will prepare you evening meal for you.
- Overnight at Home stay in a real Lahu House.
Day 2 Trek to Shan Village (B,L,D)
- Breakfast will be taken in the village before proceeding with our full days trek.
- The day's trek will following narrow trails frequently trodden by the local ethnic hill tribes in the area. The jungle is thick and pristine here.
- On route we will stop for lunch.
- Visit a local waterfall which is a great spot to freshen up in the cool waters.
- Our final destination of the day will be the Shan village at Mae Mae where you will spend the second night.
- The night will be spent in relative comfort in the Tree House Village, this timber and bamboo construction clings to the hill side high and affords great views over the forested valley below. This is a truly stunning spot to spend the night!
- Dinner will be prepared for you by the local Shan villagers.
- Overnight at Tree House Village.
Day 3
- Breakfast at Tree house Village .
- The guide will escort you to the local village school to see where and how the local hill tribe kiddies get educated. Most of the children stay at the school as their home villages are too far to make the journey to and from the school everyday!
- Following our school visit we will make the short drive to the cycle starting point.
- We will bike along the flat river valley among the rice paddies and through small rural villages. Some of the route will be on unpaved tracks and some on paved road.
- We will cycle to our lunch venue in Sri Lanna National Park.
- Following lunch board your kayak and start your paddle. Paddling time will be around 1.5 hours to your accommodation for the night.
- Enjoy the amazing floating bungalows deep in the National Park.
- Spend the late afternoon swimming in the lake, exploring by kayak or taking a well earned rest.
- Dinner will be taken on the house boats by the waters edge.
- Overnight at Mae Gnat Floating bungalows.
Day 4 Relax, Kayak and back to Chiang Mai (B,L)
- After 3 days of of trekking, biking and Kayaking it will be time to take a well earned rest.
- We will take a leisurely breakfast then you will be free to relax and spend the morning on the house boats.
- The lake is a great place for swimming or you can kick back and relax by the waters edge.
- Late morning we will jump back in the kayaks and paddle back to the National Park office.
- Lunch overlooking the lake.
- After lunch we will depart back to Chiang Mai taking in the imposing Ban den temple on the route back.
Note: school visit only available during term time.
Fitness: This trip will involve 2 days hiking in hilly terrain as well as a biking and kayaking in a hot tropical climate. A good level of health and fitness will be required.
