Day 1 Jungle Resort (D)

• Arrive at the Khao Sok National Park area. Wonder at the fairy-tale scenery of the vividly coloured limestone mountains that rise sharply above the untouched forests.
• Check into your jungle accommodations and stay in authentic bungalows located in beautiful forest grounds along the river.
• In the late afternoon, join a local community guide for a canoe trip down a gentle river. Float by towering limestone cliffs to take in the scenery.
• Stop and enjoy a hot drink from a handmade bamboo cup or choose the 'Jungle Style Thai Cooking Visit' at a local family farm in Khao Sok. Experience Thailand culture and food, jungle style!
• Immerse yourself in the beautiful jungle setting. Learn how to prepare local dishes using bamboo, banana leaves, and fresh herbs from the garden. You can choose whether you want to see how it is done, or go for a full-on cooking lesson.
• Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the local village.
• Overnight, you will stay at a jungle resort in Khao Sok.

Day 2: Jungle resort and hike (B,L,D)

• Enjoy the morning at your own pace. Choose to relax or head out for another adventure. Breakfast at the resort.
• After breakfast, head to the national park for a half day hike.
• After lunch, you have a choice of bathing with an elephant, or taking a Thai jungle cooking class at a local village.
• Return to the jungle resort for the evening and enjoy another night in your Jungle bungalow.

Day 3: Transfer to the floating bungalows (B,L,D)

• After your breakfast, transfer to the Takun office to store your luggage. Then head to Rajjaprabha Dam and Khao Sok (Cheow Larn) Lake. This man-made reservoir is an area of outstanding beauty with its towering limestone cliffs and jungle-clad hills.
• Arrive to the pier at the dam and take a long tail boat ride to visit the Guilin Scenic area for pictures and a swim.
• Check into your floating bungalow.
• Lunch at the floating bungalows.
• Spend the afternoon enjoying the hike with your guide identifying local wildlife on the way.
• In the evening, board your private long tail boat for an evening safari when the animals are most active.
• Dinner is served at the floating restaurant and includes an array of Thai dishes.
• Spend the night in your cozy floating accommodation on the lake–a fairy tale experience of unforgettable peace and tranquility.

Day 4: Morning mist safari, relax and hike (B,L,D)

• Wake up early to catch the best of wildlife viewing in a long-tail boat with your guide.
• Watch the hornbills fly in the mist rising against a backdrop of colorful limestone cliffs. Try to catch a glimpse of the gibbons swinging in the treetops.
• Have a choice of western or Thai breakfast at the lake house restaurant.
• In the morning, you will have free time and unwind, spend time swimming or kayaking.
• Lunch at the floating bungalow.
• After lunch, go on a private guided hike in the worlds’ oldest forest, based on your guide’s recommendation of a trail.
• Dinner is a traditional Thai meal made of local ingredients in the superior floating bungalow restaurant.
• Overnight, you will stay in floating bungalows on Khao Sok Lake again.
• Meals and activities included.

Day 5: Morning mist safari, swimming, kayak. (B,L)

• Enjoy the Morning Mist Boat Safari. Catch the mist drifting along the water and jungle as you search for wildlife and watch the day bloom on the lake.
• Enjoy Khao Tom, a savory rice porridge or pancakes at the floating bungalow for breakfast.
• In the morning, you will have free time and unwind, spend time swimming or kayaking.
• There will be a traditional Thai lunch served lakeside.
• Say goodbye to your superior floating Bungalows and board your private long tail boat headed back to the pier.
• Return to the tour office to collect excess baggage and transfer to your next destination.
• End of Program.
