3 day Study & Service tour
Southern Thailand is home to the world’s oldest jungles, mangroves forests, and white sand beaches - a perfect classroom to understand the relationship between nature and human activity.
Using sustainable modes of transportation such as kayaking and cycling, students will engage in environmental protection efforts ranging from beach clean ups to learning about sea turtle conservation all while learning about the ecosystem of the park. Additionally, students will join a local community to participate in cultural activities.

Day 1 - Coastal Adventure with Community Guides (L,D)
- Program starts in Khao Lak for a pre-trip briefing and cultural orientation.
- Embark on a guided tour of Ta Ding Daeng Village, starting with a village tour and kayaking excursion through mangrove channels. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the village restaurant featuring Thai cuisine and organic salads.
- In the afternoon, learn about traditional village life and participate in activities such as making crab traps before heading to Tai Muang National Park Beach for a hike, beach cleanup, and relaxation.
- Conclude the day with a return to the hotel in Khao Lak by 4:30 PM followed by dinner in the evening.
Overnight: Khao Lak Resort or Tent Accommodation at National Park (most are located on a beautiful stretch of undeveloped beach)
Day 2 - Conservation and Ecological Restoration Service Project (B,L,D)
- Dive into the environment of Thai Mueang National Park. Using sustainable modes of transportation such as kayaking and cycling, students will engage in environmental protection efforts ranging from beach clean ups to learning about sea turtle conservation all while learning about the ecosystem of the park.
- Meet the local community and be invited to participate in some of their cultural activities on a visit to Khao NaYak.
- Dinner at national park or Accommodation
Overnights: Khao Lak Resort or Tent Accommodation at National Park (most are located on a beautiful stretch of undeveloped beach)
Day 3 - Conservation and Ecological Restoration Service Project (B,L)
- Breakfast at National park or accommodation
- Finish the community project
- Lunch at the community project
- After lunch, say goodbye to the local partners.
- End of Program
